Sunday August 28th, 2011 - Hurricane Irene Support Brief:
Some parts of our service area have been affected with major flooding, power loss and internet loss.
Our phone lines are open and so are we. We are performing on-site assesments for locations we can get to where the roads are not closed.
Clients with NCOLOGY Disaster Recovery are virtualized where needed and are online.
All of Directive's Cloud Services i.e. NOC, Websites, Email and Cloud Servers were not affected.

Power:
New York State Electric & Gas reported 8,541 customers without power in Otsego County. Delaware County also has widespread outages, with 6,185 customers without power.
The Delaware County electrical grid was hit nearly as hard with 6,185 of 28,163 customers without power.
The town and village of Franklin had 1,144 NSYEG customers out of 1,348 without power.
The towns of Hamden and Masonville also had a high percentage of customers without power.
Power has been restored in some areas, server and pc's are all up for clients with power.
Oneonta still has some areas without power. We will be monitoring it throught the night.
Internet
Known outages for Time Warner: Parts of Oneonta (east end), Colliersville, East Merdith and other townships along RT 23.
