The Catskill Forest Association website's purpose is to provide members with information and resources for proper forest management practices.  The site allows members to view pamphlets and articles, while non-members can view a small snippet of each.  CFA staff have access to a photo gallery to upload and organize images, and a blog to keep viewers up to date with the latest happenings.

Information as a Service

Before the new CFA website launched, the Catskill Forest Association didn't have an automated process to subscribe members and get them the necessary information.  With the new site, members pay their membership fee online with a credit card or PayPal to access members-only content.

CFA staff have an arsenal of tools at their disposal beyond the content management system; a photo gallery, events calendar, and powerful blogging engine allow staff to provide media, additional news and information to the public.  Like allDirectiveCMS sites, Catskill Forest Association received training and customized documentation specifically developed for their site.
