Showcase Our World came to us with their ideas to launch a Community Portal for Cooperstown called Showcase Cooperstown. We helped them make it a reality on the web. The website combines Cooperstown NY accommodations, classified listings, real estate, a business directory, and much more.

In most situations, a client's website exists to compliment their brand or organization. In cases like this, the website is a communications tool between the client and the visitor. Showcase Cooperstown, however, is one of the rare instances where the business is based around the website. The product, the services, and the entire company culture are delivered online.

Showcase Cooperstown is one of Directive's largest web projects to date, yet it's still wrapped around the same content management solution we recommend to clients of all sizes. The site combines several components to represent Showcase Cooperstown's core services: Real Estate Listings, Rentals/Accommodations with Booking Management, Classified Listings, Business Directory, Social Networking, and an Events Calendar. All of these components are set up in a way that lets members (with free registration!) interact and become a part of the new online community for Cooperstown, New York.

Members can place rental listings on the site, and receive down-payments directly via PayPal when the listing is booked. Realtors and homeowners alike can post property for sale. Anyone can log on and post free classified listings. Businesses can promote themselves with online ads and coupons. The site offers games and a variety of social networking capabilities, including user-submitted photos and blogs.
