Copywriter / Blogger

We are seeking full-time copywriters/bloggers to add to our existing content team. You will work closely with the our marketing team to generate creative ideas and concepts to promote our clients brands. You must be able to write clear, persuasive, and original copy about technology-related concepts. This position includes the opportunity to write for print, web, and video. We are looking for someone that is knowledgeable in computers and tech concepts, a good communicator, flexible, a team player, and willing to go the extra mile.

A big portion of your responsibilities will involve Search Engine Optimization. Basic knowledge in SEO is required though you will have the opportunity for training and other resources. You will be required to write content that is relevant and applicable to specific audiences and personas.

Expectations:

• Must be punctual

• Experience and knowledge in computers is required

• Good communication, both written and verbal

• Strong grammar

• Skilled at proofreading copy

• Internal and external company communications

• Writing daily IT related blog entries

• Being able to research heavily is a must

Responsibilities:

• Creating content for advertising & marketing collateral

• Editing incoming blog entries from contributors

• Must be skilled at proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar

• Edit existing corporate communications

Search Engine Optimization Responsibilites Include:

• Basic or better knowledge of SEO best practices and mechanics

• Strong understanding of front-end website best practices

• Basic knowledge of HTML helpful but not required
