Administrative Assistant

We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant to help provide general office and bookkeeping support.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Review and approve time sheets

  • Assist with order processing and purchasing
  • Assist with travel plans / booking

  • Answer and route incoming telephone calls

  • Maintain client accounts

  • Screen and route incoming mail, including daily retrieval from the Post Office

  • Provide service dispatch by taking client calls/tickets and assigning to correct department

  • Compose and prepare correspondence, including e-mail and faxes as required

  • Order and maintain inventory of office supplies

  • Organize and maintain electronic records

  • Provide assistance with Human Resources paperwork as required

  • Send sales materials to prospects

  • Receive deliveries and process outbound shipments

  • Provide assistance with Human Resources paperwork as required

  • Maintain employee schedules and HR requests


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

  • Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously

  • Excellent listening and communications skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong customer relationship skills

  • Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated

  • Strong computer skills and the ability to effectively communicate through e-mail

  • Knowledge of the IT, Professional Services, CRM, or ERP markets preferred

  • Problem-solving abilities and ability to meet reasonable deadlines

  • Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships

  • Willingness to develop professionally

  • Ability to work with independently and in a team

  • Reliable transportation

  • Some bookkeeping knowledge strongly preferred
